Ba'al Tefillah Carl Cedar

Carl brings his joy of music and Judaism to each and every service. In addition to leading services, he teaches music and tefillah at our Religious School with a passion for transmitting the joy of Jewish music to the great kids of CBI. He began his music career at age 12 when his band played every bat mitzvah party of his Long Island Hebrew school graduating class. Carl went on to study music at SUNY@Buffalo. He moved West to join the faculty of Musicians Institute in Hollywood, and was a Music Supervisor and Orchestrator at Universal Studios for  the TV show “Knightrider”. Shortly thereafter, he met his soulmate Nancy and they moved to the OC to raise their two beautiful boys, Andrew and David. For over 30 years, Carl has worked as a Music Producer for Walt Disney Live Entertainment based at Disneyland.
